Highlands and Cashiers are the twin towns at the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains,
and their cool mountain air have drawn people to them as summer refuge for over a
century. They are places of step back in time with a warm and friendly neighborhood
feeling. With elevation between 3500 to 4000 feet, not only the air is fresh and cool,
but also panoramic views of the mountains are breathtaking. Recreational activities are

The Outer Banks of North Carolina is a string of barrier islands stretching more than
130 miles long from Corolla to Ocracok on the Atlantic seaboard. Its sandy beaches and
clear blue ocean have attracted visitors year after year. It is a place full of history

the first outdoor drama in the US, to the wild horses in the four–wheel drive area, the

Washington and Beaufort counties are the inner banks of North Carolina. They are surrounded
and intertwined with the Pamlico River, Pungo River and Pamlico Sound, which together are
the largest protected inland waterways on the East Coast. Boating, fishing, crabbing, golfing a
nd sightseeing can be enjoyed most of the year in this mild climate. These counties also boast
of rich and storied heritage in historical downtown Washington and North Carolina’s first town
Bath. These rivers, creeks and inter coastal waterways create views that are peaceful and magnificent.
It is a wonderful region of Eastern North Carolina.

The Research Triangle is a metropolitan region in the Piedmont of North Carolina consisting of
Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill. The three major universities, North Carolina State, Duke and
North Carolina University at Chapel Hill are located in each region respectively. The Forbes
magazine has ranked Triangle as "the #1 place for education", while Employment Reviews gives
it "#1 place to live and work". Triangle offers high tech, great medical services, best
educational system in the state and great lifestyle. It is a wonderful place to raise a
